2025. The Pipeline
The Pipeline
Work in Progress, 2022 –
In the world of energy, water is no longer just life—it has become a medium of control, conflict, and exploitation. The Pipeline explores this shift through a constellation of works that trace the tension between natural systems and industrial power.
The project unfolds across three interconnected works:
-
PIPELINE (#1 CHAOS Donaumündung) (2022–2025)
A large-scale lightbox capturing the Danube Delta as a threshold—where ecological balance meets instability, and natural flows encounter industrial intervention. -
PIPELINE (#2–#5) (2025)
A photo-performance in which wax-coated tickets drift on water, each inscribed with “why?” in multiple languages. The word is written in burned engine oil, turning the act of questioning into a material trace of contamination. -
RELATIONSHIP, ROMANCE (2025)
A dual-vitrine installation combining emergency blankets, cartographic references to the Danube, and black balloons marked with chemical formulas—pointing to the often invisible presence of pollution.
Through a fragile choreography of light, matter, and gesture, The Pipeline reflects on water as both memory and infrastructure—an element that sustains life while simultaneously carrying the marks of extraction, dependency, and irreversible transformation.
